Projects!

When your social schedule was keeping you rather busy, you didn’t have the time to spend on the other things you wanted to do!
Make a list of the things you’ve been putting off! Maybe it’s a clear out of the wardrobe or maybe putting some pictures in an album or in frames or something else completely different.
The satisfaction that comes from accomplishing a task is motivating. Take some time to finish those projects and along the way, you might even find new projects that inspire you and even help you rediscover old passions.

Do something new!

Maybe it isn’t a project you want to finish but maybe it’s something you’ve been struggling to find time to start.
It could be that book sitting on the shelf that you haven’t read yet. You might want to try something new such as painting, baking, knitting or learning a new language. Maybe you would like to take a course, but you haven’t had the time to do it. Now is the perfect time to give your attention to the things you couldn’t before!

Your Space!

A tidy home helps make a happy and healthy mind. By keeping your home tidy and organised you can make the most out of the space in your home, which can have a considerable positive effect on not only your own mental health, but also the people you live with.
Are you working from home at the moment? It isn’t always as easy as it sounds! Try to create separate environments to work in and relax in. This will help you with work time and your time. Knowing you have these separate spaces will help you concentrate on work and know you still have time to enjoy yourself at the end of the day. But it will also allow you to make the most of being home.

Routine!

A routine can really make a big difference to your mood, helping you feel less stressed and much more organised! It could be as simple as making your bed each morning or having set mealtimes or even a daily phone call with a friend. Making sure you dedicate enough time to yourself is important!

Stay Connected!

Keeping healthy relationships with people we trust is important! Due to the lockdown, meeting up with people isn’t always possible. However, the world we live in is full of other ways to keep in touch!
Phone them! Facetime them! Use social media! Set up a group call where you can all chat and help one another! You could look at setting up some quizzes and other fun activities with your friends and family! You could even take this time to re-connect with people you might have drifted apart from.
